The Company
VANVETS® is a state-of-the-art mobile veterinary clinic servicing greater Las Vegas and surrounding areas. Services provided outside partner locations such as pet supply stores, animal rescues or within community neighborhood in a luxurious 23’ Mercedes Sprinter Van. We also have an office in Henderson where we keep supplies, clean instruments, and have the ability to practice telemedicine with several high-resolution cameras using artificial intelligence and more.
Our focus is maintaining the wellness of dogs and cats while providing convenient and hassle-free access to care for our customers and providing value added services for our location partners. We provide affordable teeth cleaning, diagnostic lab testing, vaccinations, wellness exams, health and travel certificates, microchipping, and more.
Our Team and Opportunity
VANVET’s team consists of experienced clinic and business operators that have more than 10 years of experience running clinics to support you so that you can focus on providing care to our dog and cat patients. VANVETS offers a low-stress work environment with a team-first approach. Our hours of operation are flexible throughout the week so that we can provide our customers with various schedule options as well. We surround you with our experienced team so that you can practice medicine. We have a call center that is handled by veterinary techs, marketing department, software team, accounting department, and human resources department to ensure the success of our practice.

The Position
VANVETS® is looking for a full-time veterinarian that brings compassion, empathy, and a detail-oriented mindset to providing excellent care to our pet patients. Some of the typical procedures you will perform during the week include, but are not limited to:
- Comprehensive oral examinations
- Teeth cleaning / hand scaling
- Microchipping
- Promoting our Wellness Plans
- Ancillary services such as nail trims and anal gland expressions
- Non-Emergency ailment treatment
- Provide prescriptions from clinic or online pharmacy
- Intestinal parasite screening
- Canine and feline core & non-core vaccines
- Heartworm testing and prevention
- Annual blood work and health screening
- Behavioral and Lifestyle Counseling
- Nutritional Consultations and Prescription Diets
- Allergy Screening and Management
- Maintain and utilize knowledge of preventative healthcare recommendations
- Assist veterinarian in dental cleanings using proper restraint, following directions
- Update and maintain accurate patient medical records
- Work collaboratively and proactively with staff
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing to practice in Nevada
- Position requires bending, kneeling, lifting, and standing during the course of work
- No minimum experience
- A positive attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills
